Software Engineer with frontend depth, building systems where every layer serves the user.

I work in engineering at Amazon Brand Innovation Lab, building the foundational tools and frontend architecture our teams use to deliver flagship interactive campaigns.

While my daily craft centers on frontend systems and browser runtimes, I view engineering as a holistic discipline. To me, UX isn’t just visual styling or interface code—it’s the cumulative result of every architectural choice across the entire system. How data flows, how protocols are structured, and how low-level constraints are handled all dictate how software ultimately feels to a human being.

Beyond web runtimes, I consider myself a builder first: deeply curious across technical boundaries, whether that means prototyping with microcontrollers and sensors, configuring Linux environments, or leveraging agentic AI workflows to tackle ambitious challenges.

01 // PRODUCT SELECTOR // GUIDED COMMERCE ENGINE 2024 – PRESENT
ROLE: FRONT-END ARCHITECTURE // AMAZON BRAND INNOVATION LAB
PROBLEM: Amazon Brand Stores lacked an interactive guided-selling mechanism for complex product catalogs. Brand owners needed a self-service, branching recommendation quiz to guide shoppers through multi-product portfolios directly within their stores, without custom engineering per campaign.
ARCHITECTURE: Built in React with a deterministic client-side recommendation engine and dynamic branching logic. Engineered to execute seamlessly across Amazon’s desktop, mobile web, and in-app webview runtimes under strict bundle-size and latency budgets, with zero external runtime dependencies.
OUTCOME: Adopted as one of Amazon Brand Stores' flagship interactive self-service widgets; deployed globally across high-traffic brand stores.
01 // CLIENT ARCHITECTURE & FRONTEND
FOCUS: Fast, accessible web applications and platform tooling with zero unnecessary bloat.
CORE STACK: TypeScript, modern JavaScript, React, semantic HTML5, modular SCSS/CSS Grid.
SPECIALTIES: DOM performance, state architecture, component libraries, web accessibility, bundle size budgeting, cross-browser quirks.
APPROACH: User experience comes first. Measure latency, avoid runtime bloat, and keep interactions snappy.
02 // AI FLUENCY & MODERN WORKFLOW
FOCUS: High-leverage engineering force multiplier to build faster, expand capabilities, and tackle ambitious architectural challenges.
WORKFLOWS: Agentic coding workflows, local and frontier models for rapid prototyping, automated test suite synthesis, and private toolchains.
APPROACH: Harness AI to eliminate friction and accelerate execution velocity, while maintaining rigorous engineering standards, sound architectural fundamentals, and deterministic quality.
03 // SYSTEMS & HARDWARE TINKERING
FOCUS: Practical curiosity beyond browser tabs.
ENVIRONMENTS: Linux environments, Docker containers, local networking, reverse proxies.
HARDWARE: Microcontrollers (ESP32, Raspberry Pi), sensor telemetry, serial communication, and hardware prototyping.
APPROACH: Understanding how the whole machine works—from protocols and operating system layers down to physical components.
